External cartridge dry chemical powder fire extinguishers are suitable for all categories and are recommended for high-risk locations such as chemical processing plants, storage facilities and warehouses. The extinguisher body is made of cold-rolled steel (CRS) and is manufactured by automatic metal inert gas (MIG) welding process. Each extinguisher body is then subjected to hydrostatic pressure in order to ensure the safety of the end user. The outer surface of the body is blasted and pre-treated with zinc phosphate to improve corrosion resistance and paint adhesion. Each extinguisher is electrostatically coated using polyester resin before being baked in the oven. Dry chemical powder is capable of handling Class B flammable liquid fires and flammable gas fires, and also handles Class A fires involving carbon materials such as wood, paper, etc. It can also be used in electrical fires.
